Reasons for Thanksgiving for the Family (Genesis 1:27-28, Genesis 2:21-24)

Geneza 1:27. Dumnezeu a făcut pe om după chipul Său, l-a făcut după chipul lui Dumnezeu; parte bărbătească şi parte femeiască i-a făcut. 28. Dumnezeu i-a binecuvântat şi Dumnezeu le-a zis: „Creşteţi, înmulţiţi-vă, umpleţi pământul şi supuneţi-l; şi stăpâniţi peste peştii mării, peste păsările cerului şi peste orice vieţuitoare care se mişcă pe pământ.”
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”

Geneza 2:21. Atunci Domnul Dumnezeu a trimis un somn adânc peste om, şi omul a adormit; Domnul Dumnezeu a luat una din coastele lui şi a închis carnea la locul ei. 22. Din coasta pe care o luase din om, Domnul Dumnezeu a făcut o femeie şi a adus-o la om. 23. Şi omul a zis: „Iată în sfârşit aceea care este os din oasele mele şi carne din carnea mea! Ea se va numi „femeie”, pentru că a fost luată din om.” 24. De aceea va lăsa omul pe tatăl său şi pe mama sa, şi se va lipi de nevasta sa şi se vor face un singur trup.

Genesis 2:21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. 22 Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He [a]made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. 23 And Adam said: “This is now bone of my bones And flesh of my flesh; She shall be called Woman, Because she was taken out of  Man.” 24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

Introducere – Introduction:
Unul din cele mai mari motive de mulțumire, alături de tot ceea ce a făcut Dumnezeu pentru noi ca să ne mântuiască în Planul Său, este familia. Familia pe care Dumnezeu a instituit-o de la creație, între un bărbat și-o femeie, cu scopul de-a umple pământul, prin nașterea de copii, încununată prin prezența lui Dumnezeu în mijlocul ei.

One of the greatest reasons for gratitude, along with all that God has done for us to save us in His Plan, is family. The family that God established from creation, between a man and a woman, in order to fill the earth, through the birth of children, crowned by the presence of God in her midst.

1. Familia este un dar al lui Dumnezeu făcut omenirii, un dar unde bărbatul și femeia, prin căsătorie, întemeiază o familie, pe care Dumnezeu după voia Lui o binecuvintează cu copii
1. The family is a gift of God made to mankind, a gift where man and woman, through marriage, establish a family, which God at His will blesses with children

Geneza 22:15. Îngerul Domnului a chemat a doua oară din ceruri pe Avraam 16. şi a zis: „Pe Mine însumi jur, zice Domnul: pentru că ai făcut lucrul acesta şi n-ai cruţat pe fiul tău, pe singurul tău fiu, 17. te voi binecuvânta foarte mult şi-ţi voi înmulţi foarte mult sămânţa, şi anume: ca stelele cerului şi ca nisipul de pe ţărmul mării; şi sămânţa ta va
stăpâni cetăţile vrăjmaşilor ei.
Genesis 22:15 Then the Angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time out of heaven, 16 and said: “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son— 17 blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies.

Ps 127:3. Iată, fiii sunt o moştenire de la Domnul, rodul pântecelui este o răsplată dată de El. 4. Ca săgeţile în mâna unui războinic aşa sunt fiii făcuţi la tinereţe. 5. Ferice de omul care îşi umple tolba de săgeţi cu ei! Căci ei nu vor rămâne de ruşine când vor vorbi cu vrăjmaşii lor la poartă.
Psalm 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, The fruit of the womb is a reward. 4 Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. 5 Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; They shall not be ashamed, But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.

2. Familia trebuie să aibă ca țintă slujirea lui Dumnezeu și unii altora, prin responsabilitățile, atribuțiile și autoritatea dată de Dumnezeu
2. The family must have as its goal, the service of God and one another, through the responsibilities, attributions, and authority given by God.

Iosua 24:15. Şi dacă nu găsiţi cu cale să slujiţi Domnului, alegeţi astăzi cui vreţi să slujiţi: sau dumnezeilor cărora le slujeau părinţii voştri dincolo de Râu, sau dumnezeilor amoriţilor în a căror ţară locuiţi. Cât despre mine, eu şi casa mea vom sluji Domnului.”
 Prov 31:30. Dezmierdările sunt înşelătoare, şi frumuseţea este deşartă, dar femeia care se teme de Domnul va fi lăudată. 31. Răsplătiţi-o cu rodul muncii ei, şi faptele ei s-o laude la porţile cetăţii.

Joshua 24:15 And if it seems evil to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
Proverbs 31:30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, But a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. 31 Give her of the fruit of her hands, And let her own works praise her in the gates.
 
Efeseni 6:1. Copii, ascultaţi în Domnul de părinţii voştri, căci este drept. 2. „Să cinsteşti pe tatăl tău şi pe mama ta” – este cea dintâi poruncă însoţită de o făgăduinţă – 3. „ca să fii fericit şi să trăieşti multă vreme pe pământ.” 4. Şi voi, părinţilor, nu întărâtaţi la mânie pe copiii voştri, ci creşteţi-i în mustrarea şi învăţătura Domnului.
Efeseni 5:24. Şi după cum Biserica este supusă lui Hristos, tot aşa şi nevestele să fie supuse bărbaţilor lor în toate lucrurile. 25. Bărbaţilor, iubiţi-vă nevestele cum a iubit şi Hristos Biserica şi S-a dat pe Sine pentru ea,

Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: 3 “that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.” 4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord.
Ephesians 5:24 Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,

3. Familia ancorată în Hristos și-n Cuvântul Lui, ajută la a avea biserici sănătoase, prin împlinirea responsabilităților date de Dumnezeu.
3. The family anchored in Christ and in His Word, helps to have healthy churches, by fulfilling the responsibilities given by God.

Învaţă pe copil calea pe care trebuie s-o urmeze, şi când va îmbătrâni, nu se va abate de la ea. – (Prov. 22:6)
2 Timotei 3:14. Tu să rămâi în lucrurile pe care le-ai învăţat şi de care eşti deplin încredinţat, căci ştii de la cine le-ai învăţat; 15. din pruncie cunoşti Sfintele Scripturi, care pot să-ţi dea înţelepciunea care duce la mântuire, prin credinţa în Hristos Isus.
Proverbele 29:15 Nuiaua şi certarea dau înţelepciunea, dar copilul lăsatde capul lui face ruşine mamei sale.
1 Timotei 5:8. Dacă nu poartă cineva grijă de ai lui, şi mai ales de cei din casa lui, s-a lepădat de credinţă şi este mai rău decât un necredincios.
Diaconii să fie bărbați ai unei singure neveste și să știe să-și cârmuiască bine copiii și casele lor. (1Tim. 3:12)

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.
2 Timothy 3:14 But you must continue in the things which you have learned and been assured of, knowing from whom you have learned them, 15 and that from childhood you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
Proverbs 29:15 The rod and rebuke give wisdom, But a child left to himself brings shame to his mother.
1 Timothy 5:8 But if anyone does not provide for his own, and especially for those of his household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever.
1 Timothy 3:12 Let deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

Aplicarea lecției – The Lesson application
Dumnezeu merită mulțumire pentru familia care ne-a dat-o în dar ca și creștini, mulțumire pentru responsabilitatea de-a rămâne integrii în Scriptură și-o mărturie, într-o societate în care satana urmărește deformarea familiei creștine și distrugerea ei, mulțumire pentru onoarea de-a sluji pe Dumnezeu și unii altora, prin atribuțiile, responsabilitățile și autoritatea dată de Dumnezeu în familie, fiind ancorați în Hristos și Cuvântul Lui.
God deserves thanks for the family that has given us as a gift as Christians, thanks for the responsibility to remain faithful to Scripture and a testimony, in a society where satan seeks to deform and destroy the Christian family, thanks for the honor of serving God and one another, through the attributions, responsibilities, and authority given by God in the family, being anchored in Christ and His Word.
